Baseball Recap: Ludlowe Wins Going Away Against Notre Dame Prep

Ludlowe was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Notre Dame Prep on Friday. Ludlowe was the clear victor by a 14-1 margin over Notre Dame Prep. The Falcons have beaten the Lancers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lancers has come to flipping the script.

Luke Stasko looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Dylan Davis was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Wolf, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

The victory got Ludlowe back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Ludlowe will square off against Fairfield Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame Prep, they have already played their next game, a 13-9 win against Naugatuck on the 28th.
