Basketball Recap: Southland's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Borden County, Southland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Wilson Mustangs by a score of 41-34. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

The victory snapped Southland's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record. As for Wilson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southland will host O'Donnell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Petersburg at 7:30 p.m.
