Basketball Preview: Hoke County Bucks vs. Richmond Raiders
Hoke County is 0-10 against Richmond since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Hoke County Bucks are taking a road trip to take on the Richmond Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 90-83 to South Mecklenburg. One positive for the Raiders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Hoke County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Hoke County took a serious blow against Richmond in their previous meeting back in February, falling 79-29. Thankfully for Hoke County, Paul McNeil Jr. (who almost dropped a triple-double on 23 points, nine assists, and nine steals) won't be suiting up this time.
