Volleyball Recap: Lancaster's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Lancaster, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the New Glarus Glarner Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Lancaster walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-14, 25-23.

Addison Morgan paced Lancaster's offense, picking up ten kills. Morgan got some help from Relly Hoerth and her 16 assists. Finally, Maddie Burr kept Lancaster's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Lancaster's win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for New Glarus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-23 record this season.

Lancaster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mineral Point on the 23rd. New Glarus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
