Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial lost against Mountainside back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Centennial Eagles might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Mountainside Mavericks an easy 68-47 victory. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centennial now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Mountainside, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Centennial will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Salem at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Mountainside, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on December 26th.
