Softball Recap: Alchesay Find Success

Alchesay proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 23) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 18-17 win over the Pima Roughriders. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 15-4 victory the Roughriders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2016.

Alchesay's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Pima, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Alchesay didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-6 victory against Ash Fork/Seligman on the 21st. As for Pima, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-2 win against Tuba City on the 21st.
