Baseball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

After flying high against Evander Childs last Thursday, Columbus came back down to earth. The Sharks took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stevenson Ambassadors on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ambassadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

Columbus' defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Stevenson, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Columbus will challenge Evander Childs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stevenson, they will square off against KIPP NYC College Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
