Baseball Game Preview: Woodland Beavers vs. Washougal Panthers

For the second straight game, Woodland will face off against Washougal. The Beavers will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Woodland has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 16.

Woodland came up short against Washougal on Friday, falling 13-6.

For Washougal's part, Samuel McKee was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs McKee has posted since back in April of 2024. Lucas Orr also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Washougal and bumps their season record up to 6-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
