Volleyball Recap: Alchesay Takes a Loss

Alchesay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Show Low Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Alchesay's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Show Low, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Alchesay is set to challenge their familiar foe Holbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Show Low will face off against rival Blue Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
