Eastern extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Emeri Lloyd. The Eagles blew past the Federal Hocking Lancers 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Lloyd, who had 19 digs and six aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Eastern was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-21.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Federal Hocking, they moved to 9-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern will square off against Marietta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Federal Hocking, they will face off against Chesapeake at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
