Evan Benfer Turns in Season-Best Effort

Evan Benfer produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Monroeville to the win on Friday. Benfer wasn't messing around, rushing for 152 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 51 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. The contest was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
