Volleyball Game Preview: LaFayette Ramblers vs. Trion Bulldogs

The LaFayette Ramblers will head out on the road to challenge the Trion Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. LaFayette will be strutting in after a win while Trion will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, LaFayette earned a 3-1 victory over Ringgold. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ramblers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-28, 26-24, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Trion was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Darlington.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14.

Trion's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for LaFayette, their win bumped their record up to 29-9.

LaFayette was able to grind out a solid victory over Trion in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ramblers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
