Soccer Game Preview: Delhi vs. Highlands

The Delhi Hawks will face off against the Highlands Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delhi will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Delhi is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Bret Harte onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Jessie Carranza and Esaul Valle scored all three of Delhi's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Highlands made sure to put some goals up on the board against Golden Sierra on Tuesday. They blew past the Grizzlies 5-0. The Scots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by three goals or more this season.

Delhi's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Highlands, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
