Volleyball Recap: Williamsville Starts off Right with Win over South County

Williamsville had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the South County Vipers by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Bullets in their matchups with the Vipers: they've now won four in a row.

Williamsville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8.

Hannah Holliday paced Williamsville's offense, picking up eight kills. Holliday got some help from Kinsley Fox and her eight assists. Holliday was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsville will welcome Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
