Basketball Recap: Dayton Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

If Scio wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dayton, they should've done a better job of containing Clyde Rosenberg. The Dayton Pirates secured a 71-65 W over the Scio Loggers on Monday thanks in part to Rosenberg, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 21 boards. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Dayton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Scio, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Dayton will take on Sheridan in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Scio and Taft will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
