Machias put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Bangor Christian Patriots as they made off with a 15-2 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Machias pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games. As for Bangor Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Machias will face off against Jonesport-Beals at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Bangor Christian, they will challenge Sumner at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
