Basketball Recap: Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders vs. Sharon Springs Central Spartans        
        
		
            
 The Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders were the  41-33 winner over the Sharon Springs Central Spartans when they last played one another  back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton lost to the Spartans at home  by a decisive  46-32 margin on Friday.
 Sharon Springs Central found their leader in underclassman  Zarie Fassett, who  scored 22 points along with four  steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Fassett has scored at least a third of Sharon Springs Central's points.  Lilly Tessier was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with five  steals.
 Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton dropped their record down to 1-2 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Sharon Springs Central, their victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-10.
 Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton will  face off against the Purple Devils at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Franklin Central has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 3. Sharon Springs Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
