Basketball Game Preview: Kane Wolves vs. Sheffield Wolverines

The Kane Wolves will challenge the Sheffield Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Kane will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Ridgway, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Kane narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Ridgway 26-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, Sheffield was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 59-29 defeat at the hands of Kane. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sheffield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Kane, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.
