Volleyball Recap: Clovis Beats Central East for Their 12th Straight Win

Clovis had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. They blew past the Central East Bengals 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 7th.

While Clovis won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Nicole Ndole and Alana Finley, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Lindsey Schneider and her 27 assists. Gia Souza and Alyssa Haas kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Clovis' victory bumped their record up to 32-4. As for Central East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 19 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-25 record this season.

As of now, neither Clovis nor Central East have any future games scheduled.
