Soccer Game Preview: Bellevue vs. Renton

The Bellevue Wolverines will head out to square off against the Renton Red Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellevue will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Bellevue took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Sammamish, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Bellevue had just enough and edged out Sammamish 1-0. Bellevue's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Meanwhile, Renton fell victim to Evergreen and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 5-0 to the Wolverines. Renton have struggled against Evergreen recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Bellevue's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Renton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
