Volleyball Recap: Forreston Comes Up Short

Forreston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Dakota Indians. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Forreston was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Forreston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Dakota, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Forreston will challenge rival Orangeville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dakota is set to square off against their familiar foe Morrison at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
