Football Recap: Fenton Takes a Loss

Fenton lost against West Chicago back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bison fell 44-34 to the Wildcats. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter Naranjo was his usual excellent self, rushing for 215 yards and three scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry for West Chicago. Naranjo's passing game has become a key predictor of the Wildcats' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-4 otherwise. Donovan Hamilton was another key player, rushing for 88 yards and one TD.

Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for West Chicago, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

As of now, neither Fenton nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
