L.E.A.D. Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They really took it to the Snook Christian Academy Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-29 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

L.E.A.D. Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Holcomb, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Patrick Branchcomb, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

L.E.A.D. Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-77 victory against Laurel Hill on the 18th. As for Snook Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 76-24 defeat against Faith Baptist Christian Academy on the 20th.
