Baseball Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Takes a Loss

Rancho Cucamonga lost against Damien on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 5-4. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brock Foulds was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Garcia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Rancho Cucamonga's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Damien, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

While Rancho Cucamonga had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
