Liberty Tree Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Simla's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Simla's way against Liberty Tree Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Simla made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
