Volleyball Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Social Circle Redskins.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 28-26, 26-24.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Social Circle, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Commerce and Social Circle will both be playing Scholars Guild Academy the next time they take the court. The Redskins will host the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
