Football Recap: Valley Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Weld Central, Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 17-7 victory over the Fort Lupton Bluedevils. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 41-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The critical scores for Valley came from Cade Lane and Gio Mosley.

Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Caden Surber and Lane were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Brady Herrman is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fort Lupton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
