Volleyball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Academy Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sugar Hill Christian Academy, Lighthouse Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Promise Prepatory Academy Knights.

Lighthouse Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Lighthouse Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Promise Prepatory Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Lighthouse Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Genesis Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Promise Prepatory Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Barnes Academy on the 11th.
