Georgia School for the Deaf are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Saturday. They will challenge Tennessee School for the Deaf on the road at Homecoming at 2:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.
After a disappointing 6 points in their last contest, Georgia School for the Deaf made sure to put some points up on the board against North Carolina School for the Deaf last Saturday. Everything went Georgia School for the Deaf's way against North Carolina School for the Deaf as they made off with a 44-22 win. The win was a breath of fresh air for Georgia School for the Deaf as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Tennessee School for the Deaf faltered in their matchup last Saturday. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-48 to Mississippi School for the Deaf. Tennessee School for the Deaf were down by 6-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Georgia School for the Deaf's victory lifted them to 1-3 while Tennessee School for the Deaf's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Georgia School for the Deaf's success rolls on or if Tennessee School for the Deaf are able to steal their positive momentum.
