DeKalb hadn't done well against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The DeKalb Barons came out on top against the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets by a score of 64-55. The Barons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Cadets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Another player making a difference was Cella Kaiser, who posted 14 points in addition to six boards and five steals.

DeKalb moved to 5-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
