Preview: Lexington Eagles vs. Buffalo Bison
The Lexington Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Buffalo Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
After a string of five wins, Lexington's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by Rogers at home and fell 42-14. Lexington was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Although Lexington took the loss, they still got scores from Mason Biehle and Owen Rhodus.
Buffalo never got on the board in their matchup two weeks ago, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Florence last Friday. They blew past the Buffaloes, posting a 47-7 victory on the road.
With Lexington's loss and Rogers' victory, both teams now sport identical 6-3 records.
Everything went Lexington's way against Buffalo when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as Lexington made off with a 35-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lexington since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
