Baseball Game Preview: St. Ignatius Bulldogs vs. Corvallis Blue Devils

The St. Ignatius Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Corvallis Blue Devils on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

St. Ignatius is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game dating back to last season last Tuesday. They came up short against Frenchtown, falling 15-3.

Meanwhile, Corvallis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Stevensville.

Waylon Lendak and Owen Marston stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lendak went 2-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Marston went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
