Softball Game Preview: Steele Comets vs. Walsh Jesuit Warriors

The Steele Comets will challenge the Walsh Jesuit Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Steele comes in on four and Walsh Jesuit on 22.

Steele is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They beat Twinsburg by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-1.

Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past Perry 12-0. Considering the Warriors have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Steele's record is now 20-10. As for Walsh Jesuit, their record now sits at 22-1.

Steele might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Walsh Jesuit in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
