Baseball Game Preview: Bellarmine Prep Lions vs. Timberline Blazers

Bellarmine Prep is 0-4 against Timberline since March of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lions will square off against the Blazers at 4:00 p.m.

Bellarmine Prep is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against North Thurston on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Rams.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timberline). They put the hurt on Mount Tahoma with a sharp 24-1 victory on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Blazers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Timberline now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Bellarmine Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Bellarmine Prep couldn't quite get it done against Timberline when the teams last played back in March of 2016 as they fell 4-0. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
