Soccer Game Preview: Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet vs. West Creek

The Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals will square off against the West Creek Coyote at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet managed to slip by Stem Preparatory Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet came up short against Stem Preparatory Academy on Monday, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Royals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabe Rodriguez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, West Creek took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Creek Wood a 5-0 shutout. The Coyote haven't had any issues with the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
