Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Boyne City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Kalkaska by a score of 48-36 on Thursday.

Boyne City pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Kingsley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
