Volleyball Recap: Faith Robelo Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Redland Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Somerset Prep Homestead, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Redland Christian Academy FALCONS on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Pythons: when they faced off against the FALCONS last Wednesday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 15-25, 25-23.

Somerset Prep Homestead's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Faith Robelo led the charge by getting 12 aces. Another player making a difference was Bailey Healy, who had five aces.

The victory got Somerset Prep Homestead back to even at 1-1. As for Redland Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Somerset Prep Homestead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Somerset Academy South Homestead on the 10th. Hopefully Redland Christian Academy paid attention to the Pythons' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pythons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
