Volleyball Recap: Abbigayl Sells' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lake Fenton over Davison

The Lake Fenton Blue Devils came up short against the Davison Cardinals on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

While Lake Fenton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23.

Lake Fenton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abbigayl Sells, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Lake Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Davison, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Lake Fenton has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Flushing on the 26th. After both having extra time off, Davison and Goodrich will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
