Baseball Recap: Benson Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Benson's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Papillion-LaVista South Titans on Friday. If the Mighty Bunnies were looking for revenge after losing 18-1 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Benson's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Papillion-LaVista South, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Benson is set to face off against their familiar foe Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista South will square off against rival Bellevue West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
