Onalaska lost to Tomah on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Hilltoppers blew past the Timberwolves 9-2.

Ian Kowal and Cooper Rudie did most of the damage at the plate: Kowal went 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base, while Rudie went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was Kowal's first of the season. Landon Stewart was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Onalaska kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win got Onalaska back to even at 5-5. As for Tomah, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coming up, Onalaska will face off against Waunakee at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tomah, they will host Sauk Prairie at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
