Basketball Recap: Bethel Piles Up the Points Against South Kitsap

There's no place like home for Bethel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They breezed by the South Kitsap Wolves to the tune of 73-24 on Saturday. The game marked the Bison's most dominant victory of the season.

Bethel was led to victory by Na'Leiyah Duncan and Timari Fruster. Duncan went 9 for 14 on her way to 23 points in addition to five assists and four steals, while Fruster dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. Those 21 points gave Fruster a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emeri Trahan - Castillo, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Bethel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for South Kitsap, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Bethel will challenge Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season. As for South Kitsap, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Graham-Kapowsin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Kitsap is facing Graham-Kapowsin at the right time seeing as Graham-Kapowsin is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
