Jathen Johnson, Edgewood's leading receiver, solidified his role on Friday. Johnson picked up 159 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Edgewood is undefeated when Johnson posts 80 or more receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Johnson and Edgewood will take on Grand Saline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Johnson up against the Indians' star pass catcher Kolton Prox. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.
