Softball Recap: Cornerstone Charter Cardinals vs. Leadership Academy Falcons
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bethany Community, Cornerstone Charter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Leadership Academy Falcons. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 19, 2024, but that streak is no more.
Aubree Reaves spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia Croatt, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Lilly Holt was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
