East Duplin and North Lenoir combined for 20 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Hawks. East Duplin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting North Lenoir from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Joselin Mata-Aguilar led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The win (which was East Duplin's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five contests. As for North Lenoir, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11-1.
