Walton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Marietta Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Walton didn't let Marietta take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.

Walton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Marietta, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Walton will head out on the road to challenge Cherokee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marietta, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Hillgrove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
