Basketball Recap: North Yarmouth Academy Comes Up Short

North Yarmouth Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 55-37 bruising from the Wells Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-31 back in December of 2025.

North Yarmouth Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Wells, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-8.

Looking ahead, North Yarmouth Academy will head out to square off against Lisbon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Greyhounds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.45 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wells, they will host Waynflete at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Flyers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
