Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Raelynn Rumler and Emma Dusseau-Bates Lead Madison to Victory

Madison entered their tilt with Hudson on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-21, 25-21.

Leading Madison to victory were Emma Dusseau-Bates and Raelynn Rumler. Dusseau-Bates had 22 digs, while Rumler had 17 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Rumler a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Madison was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive contests.

Madison's record is now 11-7. As for Hudson, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6-1 record.

Looking ahead, Madison will head out to take on Onsted on Saturday. After both having extra time off, Hudson and Dundee will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
