Basketball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen East Comes Up Short

Morristown-Hamblen East lost against Bearden last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes took a blow against the Bearden Bulldogs, falling 95-54. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Bulldogs are ranked sixth).

Morristown-Hamblen East dropped their record down to 5-22 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Bearden, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Morristown-Hamblen East nor Bearden have any future games scheduled.
