Basketball Recap: Pierce Stone Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy

Community Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy on Saturday. The Cyclones walked away with a 79-72 victory over the Stars.

Community Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pierce Stone led the charge by going 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and five assists. Those 32 points gave Stone a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Gattis, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine assists.

Community Christian's record is now 10-3. As for Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
