Football Recap: Lamphere Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Warren Woods-Tower last Friday, Lamphere came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Fitzgerald Spartans on Friday, falling 21-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Devon Billings produced another solid performance rushing for 228 yards while picking up 8.4 yards per carry for Fitzgerald.

Lamphere's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Fitzgerald, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Lamphere wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 24-21 loss against Marysville on the 3rd. As for Fitzgerald, they have also already played their next matchup, a 61-0 victory against Warren Woods-Tower on the 4th.
